Reader's Digest Version... but not really

This is the reader’s digest version of everything that happened since David and I got back to Utah on July 25th (after our cruise).
On our way back from the Salt Lake airport David let me stop in Blackfoot and we had some good Melina’s.
While there he realized they have some tasty verde sauce and his opinion on the place was positively changed.  Haha he liked it before but after he had some sauce he liked it much much more.
My pathetic pile of boxes.... so much still left to pack

Basically our first week back we packed and made phone calls to get processes for buying our condo, me transferring my license, and anything else related to moving to Ohio; we also packed. Packing went pretty slowly though and we didn’t do a lot of it. Whoops

Then on Friday evening I had my bridal shower. It was lots of fun to see all the ladies that came. Thank you guys for everything!

The next day David and I took Brandon and his friend CJ to the INL party. We hadn’t initially planned on going but my Mom has been getting sick when she gets too hot in the sun and my Dad was worried about her being in the sun.

That was all fine and dandy but Brandon really wanted to go still so we volunteered to take them. It was a pretty good day especially when it rained a little, ahhh that felt good.

When we went home my parents were washing their car, so we washed and TOTALLY cleaned our car inside and out as well.
We even got David's college parking stickers to come off. Nothing is better then riding in a freshly vacuumed car.
I love working with David by my side

Afterwards we were setting up some problem solving situations for Tater. He is so smart we actually had to buy a new kennel for him because he learned how to climb out of his old one, we love to challenge him because he is so willing to figure things out and play along. We were putting his toy in a clear vase and convincing him to get it out. Here’s the little video, I hope you enjoy it! Props to me for recording the video while laughing and props to David for helping me post it and make it one video.
It was so funny to watch him put his head in the vase what a fun little dog he is and he’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. Then David decided to do what he does best and find and even better way to have Tater be in the vase. I'm really going to miss that puppy!

Sunday we were off to sunny St. George for David’s family reunion. I had only been through there once so I was excited to go. Also David let me go to Melina’What a LONG drive!

When we hit Payson I was thinking oh this isn’t so bad Malad, Salt Lake and Provo came and when fast enough; however 200 miles till St. George I was feeling it, are we there yet? No we weren’t.
Unfortunately out of the 8 siblings in David’s father’s family only two showed up David the 3rd’s (us) and his brother Rob with his wife and 3 girls. David’s Grandparents were there but we really only saw his grandma long story short his Grandpa ended up in the hospital.  Nothing fatal, thank goodness, but he will probably need back surgery. David’s grandpa had been in a lot of back and hip pain for a while now so it was a long time in coming we are all just glad he didn’t take a fall first.
Our condo we got to stay in
David sleepin in our little closet bed :)
Even though it wasn’t a very big family reunion it was fun and it was fun to meet his Uncle I only have one more to meet and I will have met them all. David has 6 uncles and 1 aunt so I think that is pretty impressive that I have met all but one.
brotherly neck pats
cousin Malia what a cutie
Us kissing!! before we saw Alfred Hitchcock's 39 steps in Cedar City, funny show!
Chilling outside before the show, it was such a nice evening.
polygamists!!! We saw quite a few of them it was really weird and I felt sorry for them. I have no idea what it is actually like for them but what I have heard is scary.

On the bright side of St. George, David and I got to swim and be in the sun, where once again he baked like a true Mexican and I got my signature almost tan but still looks red like possibly sunburned color.
I don’t burn but when I tan but I always look flushed like I’m blushing it wasn’t always like that so I was really jealous of David’s dark brown color.
Look at that! Isn't that ridiculous?!?
I was also excited because David let me get some pictures of us in front of the St. George Temple, it was so beautiful and peaceful just like all temples. David and I decided that St. George is hot! BUT it isn’t like humid hot and so we could live in a place like that, we will have to see where his career takes us.
I love Him!

 Ahh true love
