Ancient Mayan ruins in the jungles of Costa Maya. Theses are some of the older pyramids achealogists have found. It was soooo hot this day and it was like 99% humidity and of corse it rained during the day. I'm not being negative about the rain though because it was warm but it still cooled you off unlike Idaho rain that chills a body to the bone.

The last pyramid
David and I got lucky on this trip because we heard about another excursion that was going to a lagoon called Uchben Kah and we were able to upgrade to that for only $10! It was this huge body of fresh water and it was so beautiful!
This picture is WAY edited but it's still really pretty
ahh swimming in fresh water is so much more... less salty than the ocean hah
We're a bunch of swimmin' fools
The lagoon is literally in the middle of the jungle and there was nothing but the one little resort we were at. I've tried to find some more info about it since we've been back but it's not very easy. It was totally worth the extra $10.
