Twilight

I am not a super fan of Twilight. I read all the books and after I read some other series and quickly decide I liked them a whole heck of a lot more than Twilight. Once you read the books though you have to see the movies, I will never buy them but I have to see them.
While David's Mom and Dad were here they bought us two sets of tickets to go see some movies. David and I decided one set I would choose the movie and the other he would. My first choice would have been Hunger Games but that isn't coming out until March (sad day!) AND I am having a baby in January; basically that was right out. The only other movie I really even knew of that was coming out any time soon was Twilight so last night David graciously came with me to the Twilight premier. It was a good date night, and to be honest our first in a while that was actually on a weekend evening and was the whole evening. I have to say that this movie was better than many of the other ones because it had more going on. It was worth seeing and we got a good spot so I am calling it a success. Oh, and it helped that we sat in front of a group of tweeny boppers and next to a funny black lady, it was like our own personal rift tract during the movie, pretty funny.
Our Twilight faces, haha

Tron

We got to go see Tron. It's another one of those movies that is GREAT visually, BUT the storyline (or lack thereof) was weak sauce. These are the best two shots of about 6 photos :) I would have to say they are a success.
This is us waiting for Vincent and his parents to show up.

Progress and Pride & Prejudice

I've got about a third of my Christmas throw done. Hurray! I ironed and cut up all the pieces last week, so that I could sew this week. It will be an awesome blanket but this is the first time I have had something besides just blocks to cut out and sew so the seems are just a leeeetle off. Haha oh well I'll get better I'm sure. It will have edging on the sides and I think I want to add another row to the bottom to make sure that it will cover toes with room to spare :) extra cozy. This Sunday and last I watched Pride and Prejudice while I worked. Can I just say WOW I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that show! I have always been a hopeless romantic. I hadn't even seen it till August of this year. I was hanging out with some friends and one of the guys refrenced it and I was like "huh?".
I had heard about it seen parts (more like seconds) of the Mormon version but had never really seen it. I knew nothing about the storyline or anthing else. He then continued to tell me "You're not a 'real girl until you've seen Pride and Prejudice". So about a week later I went over to his house and watched it with his brother and him. Haha and in their words they made a "real women" out of me. Good good times. Between the language like "violent affections" and the suspense of all the couples I just die. If only things were that fun in real life. One of the best and worse parts is how Mr. Darcy and Ms. Bennett never kiss till the absolute end of the movie. It's so refreshing unlike current movies that are filled with full on everything from start to finish.
Not only that but it's so fun to talk about with other girls haha just one more chick flick to anlyze. Just as a side note to one of my friends I spoke to about this recently I paid extra attention to Mr. Darcy this last time and I'm going to agree with you he is FINE. I'm not a super fan of Colin Firth but in this movie I am! I'm usually more of a blue eyed blondish guy fan, but his brown eyes and hair are just fine the way they are.
