Happy Birthday Kyle!!

On the 26th of August was Kyle's birthday! He is one of my good friends I love him so much! We went jetskiing to celebrate and he had his friends there. I love being able to go to these kinds of social get togethers they are always so fun. Here are three things I love about Kyle #1 He's always so honest haha even if it's not really what you want to hear. #2 When he laughs I can't help but giggle it's so contagious! #3 He is an amazining conversationlist. It's nice to be able to talk to someone who has something worthwhile to say. I hate feeling like I'm filling up empty space in conversations. In short he's awesome. Happy Birthday Kyle!

Hurray for being employed!

Just in case you haven't heard I have two new jobs! Hurray! I'm still employed at the school district but now I have 2 more jobs to add to that (I know it's a little crazy). I finally got a job in hair, not my first choice but it'll work. It's been really slow the last couple of days but I've still have managed to make a several dollars more an hour after you add my tips to my base pay so that's good. My other job is in retail again. I'm not saying where any of these are due to privacy. But all you who have wanted to come see me at the salon feel free to facebook me and I'll give you the 411. As for the retail job I work there often enough I'm sure I'll run into you guys sometime. I work all morning/ afternoon at the salon and then close at the other job. Wow it's going to be busy, or rather it's been busy. I might quite the retail job so I can work at the school district more but we'll see.

I also think I will be going back to school. I know I've mentioned that on here before (back in March... ish?) but this time unless somthing seriously stops me it's going to happen. It's so weird to think that I've been thinking about going to Provo for a little over 3 years now! My dad tried to get me to go to the Paul Mitchell school in SLC right after I graduated and I should have, but other "things" made me feel like I had to stay. I'm really scared but I'm also really excited it will be good for me.

Goals

It's been a while since I have mentioned this but I am still working on my goal of letting Heavenly Father make more of me then I can out of myself. It's a fairly broad goal but I have found many things that I can do to accomplish this. One of my newest is to read the entire book of Mormon prefrably before the end of the year or sooner. While I have read it through before at least once everytime has taken too long. I'm hoping to read it quickly so that I can understand it better as a whole. That and I can earn the new Young Women's Value of Virtue. It was a challenge given to our relief society by the young women's president in our ward. I'm excited and I already feel like I've gained more from this time through then any other.

Almost done!

I finished the other side of my jean quilt! Hurray, it's really kinda sad because the front has been done since January. Then I was working on my brothers blankets till late March. I'm not sure what my exscuse for April is but May June and July have been crazy busy. Haha and even with all those exscuses it doesn't matter because it only took about 2 hours to sew the back together. Anyways I'm pretty excited all we have to do is bind it now. I'll give you more pictures when I finish.

I'm really liking my "date to finish" haha because as long as I finish it before the next 4th of July I'll be happy with myself. It's just to bad it doesn't come with a guy to snuggle with :P

Scooters= Freedom

This is my last post haha for a while at least. As I have mentioned this summer has been cRaZy FuN and one thing that has made it so great (besides friends, dating and traveling everywhere) is our scooters! A little while ago I was hanging out with Russell and after we ate some dinner we decided we needed to do some cruisin'. In Russell's words "ahhh yeayah". I love riding around on the scooters it's so much better then just driving it truly is FREEDOM. And I love being able to smell the air, summer is the best ah, I'm so sad to see it start ending. Haha my face looks so fat in that stupid helmet.

After sleeping all day Cailey and I went to the North American Hairstyling Awards. We got a picture with Phillip Wilson (one of THE most amazing hairstylists). Going to NAHA seriously makes me want to just go out and do lots of hair it's been a really great experience both times.
And of corse just like last year I got lots of product here is us rolling in our product, and us just messing around.

When we finally got to Vegas we were soooo tired we took a nap. Haha too much fun at the beach. Unfourtunatly the most fun we had while we were there was not a night we had our camera with us (shoot!). The second night we got stuck on the strip because our hotel decided not to have the shuttle come get us (even though it had more then once already) and we didn't bring money from a cab. BLEH!! So we decided to wait and see if our shuttle showed up at the hotel that it dropped us off at. While we were there we met a group of guys (SOOOO HOT!!). And we ended up running around the city with them till 5:30 am! It was so crazy. I still remember all their names there was Malcom (he looked like prince Harry very cute!), Brandon (I know I can't escape the name but he was WAY cuter then my ex and a lot nicer), Matt, Andy, Ryan, Hoffa, and Eitem.

Malcom and Brandon were the cutest and they hung out with me the most haha I'm still trying to decide how I ended up getting so lucky! They were all 21 just like Cailey and I and they were all drinking. Oh well it was still way fun because they weren't jerks about it. Once they found out I didn't drink they were like "Wow that's so smart.... glug, glug, glug". None of the guys would let me drink after that, I got lucky. I really wanted to let them kiss me just so that I could say I kissed some guys (plural haha) in Vegas but even though they were willing I couldn't bring myself to do it haha I'm so LAME! In the end Matt, Malcom and Brandon took Cailey and I back to their hotel and we hung out for a while then they paid for our cab back to our hotel. It was so early Cailey and I decided to wait 30 more minutes for breakfast at 6am, we ate and slept till 2:30pm good good times.

Layover in Cali

I'm going to keep this post short becuase I keep waiting for more time to write everything that happened and it's NOT happening. Cailey and I went to Vegas. I drove down to SLC and we stayed in a hotel, the next morning at 7:20am we flew out. We got lucky and had a 4 hour layover in Longbeach. We decided to go to the beach, it was AWESOME!!!

If we had planned better we would have had time to swim!! It was kinda dissapointing haha our swimsuits were somewhere in a plane at the airport. But I'm not going to lie that water was NOT warm it was only a little warmer then the Snake is when we used to boat.
