Well I guess only one of these next two projects are really "new". My mom and I are going to finish the back of my jean quilt picnic blanket. We got some really cute fabric for the back. The best part about the fabric was that it was a jean quality as well which will wear for a LONG time.
The other blanket I'm going to make is a Christmas throw. I decided to add a row to the pattern at the bottom to make it extra long like Jordan and Brandon's scout quilts. I'm not super tall but it's amazing to have a throw blanket that actually covers your feet with blanket to spare.
My mom and I got this fabric on sale after Christmas it was about half off. I think I want to put fuzzy red and green material on the back to make it extra cozy. This is the pattern I chose for it I got it from a Sister in our ward. We went to a quilt show with her this weekend it was pretty cool they had some of the most AMAZING quilts I have ever seen.
Quilting really is a fun hobby to have and it's one that you get almost instant satisfaction out of because everytime you do anything to your project you see results it is very rewarding, and not to mention in the end you get an awesome blanket.

Hmmm I would love to do something like that, one of my ex boyfriends had this Jean quilt/blanket and I loved it. I almost stole it from him lol, almost... he he he anywho that is awesome! I need a hobby something like that.
