Little Davie had his one month appointment on Monday! He has gained almost 3 pounds since he was born, good job little buddy.
At birth he was
Length- 19.5 inches
Weight- 6 pounds 13 ounces
Head- 13.25 inches
One Month
Length- 20.5 5th percentile
Weight- 9 pounds 7 ounces 20th percentile
Head- 15.25 50th percentile
His head measurement has made us laugh a little but I'm convinced he is just growing a smartie brain like his Daddy's. If that is the case then the real joke is on us.
After getting his shot putting him in his carseat was not fun, poor baby :(
Some thing I have realized since he was born is that I don't call him by his name very often. When he is crying I tend to say things like "oh baby!"(you have to say it in a sad voice) or I call him junior (haha but he's a 5th not a junior so that bugs his dad a little) little buddy, Mr. chubs, Mr. Cute-ness and little boy. As I list these of I feel like all I ever do is talk baby talk but I don't. It's not that I don't like his name I think subconsciously I am trying to cut down on the confusion between his name and his Dad's. All the same he has a lot of nicknames.

Kari, you have such a cutie pie baby!! He is beginning to fill out so well. Its ok to call him by all those endearments. He will know his name soon enough. Just cuddle him and love him. Give him a little cuddle from me.
I'm a big fan of nicknames, so I can't blame you there. Miss Lucy has been in the 90th percentile for her head since birth, you think that's why I had a c-sec?! We just say she's got lots of brains! :)
