When I announced I was going private with my blog a couple of you asked "why." I'll be honest, the number one reason was to make sure that neither my Ex nor his family could look at my blog anymore. Don't get me wrong in some ways the thought of them seeing me happy and moving on made me happy, but at the same I don't want them to know anything about me. Also I don't want any of you to think that I think they looked at it all the time anyways. Moving to Ohio was a great way for me to move on physically so changing my blog to private was my opportunity to move on mentally. It is part of my New Year's resolution to just leave it allllll behind, no more bringing any of it up. My life is my life and I only want to share it with certain people, I feel like that is simple enough.
My second reason was simple private blog= privacy, it's all in the name. I have been a little concerned with how much I share on the internet can be connected to the ease at which a person's identity can be stolen. For example I have taken most of my likes off Facebook and I check my privacy settings once a week. I really don't like the idea of someone I don't know looking through all of my stuff.
Last but not least, I have watched several of you ladies go private and it seems like you still get enough comments and visitors anyways.
That being said I love to look at my stats! I think it is so fun to see which posts are popular and which ones are not. Haha, without fail it surprises me because I will write a blog about something and when I'm done I'll think in my head "why on earth would I publish this?" and within 24 hours I'll have 5 comments on it. The opposite is just as true I'll post something that I'll think is really fun or cool and no one says a thing! You just never know.

how do you tell which ones are popular.. just by how many comments are left?
Yes that is one way, but if you go to your dashboard and click on the farthest tab to the right (stats) it will tell you all kinds of info about your blog. There are stats for what post you have had the most viewers for and who your biggest fans are and all kinds of fun stuff.
