So big!

I figured I would share some pictures of Colin with you before he turns the big #1. This picture right here is probably one of my new favorites poor little boy is behind bars. If I had to take a guess it's to keep him from eating the dirt out of his Mommy's potted plant. I love getting my monthly e-mails from his family! He is doing so well and he is soooo loved and happy! Everyday that passes now that he is gone I am more and more happy and peaceful about the decision I made. Colin would NOT have had a good life if I had kept him and neither would I. I'm glad I chose the decision that was not only the BEST for me and him but ultimately I knew it was right in my Heavenly Father's eyes. And what a pretty little baby he is! Haha even if he is a boy! Also I was going through pictures of me for the slide show we will have at the reception and Colin looks so much like me when I was his age. That's always comforting too. I'll stop talking now, enjoy the baby pictures.
Excuse my nakedness :)

This is Colin getting into his Mommy's cabinet that the tupperware goes in. What a little monster!

This is my brother Brandon as a baby I just think Colin looks so much like him they both have that chubby round baby face.

Colin is walking, he has no teeth but he walks. I hope all my kids have such BIG pretty blue eyes like Colin, Brandon and I had as babies.

This is my Brother again

and me at 10 months old

Colin's cute little baby face with his Daddy.

Chewing on a shoe. I like this picture because I have two shoes on but I'm chewing on a 3rd haha.

Suckin on a straw

That's all for now I just think it's neat that the three of us all looked so similar as babies. We could be little triplets!

Happy Easter Conference weekend

I spent the entire weekend (minus bedtime) at David's. His Brother and Sister came home from Provo and brought 6 other people with them. It was a full house! We had an easter egg hunt Sunday morning right after breakfast. Then we all watched conference together in the front room. David's Mom cooked food for everyone while we were all there (yummy thank you), and we all ate too much! Brandon was there with me hanging out with all the college kids haha that was pretty funny. Also David's brother Brian who is on a mission has approved me :) he sent me a questionnaire I had to fill out and here is an excerpt from the letter he sent back this week.

I got Kari's replies to her questions!! What a great sister-in-law we will have! She likes rootbeer popsicles and votes for Queen Latifa in a fight against Zach Effron and a man in a Jamba Juice Banana suit. I can't ask for anything more than that. I'm not sure if she knew that those were the most important questions in the survey or not but she definitely passed with flying colors!! I have some yellow or green ties and today me and my companion will take pictures with them on so I can be cardboard cut out represented!!!

Needless to say that's a good sign! The questions he sent were fun and were pretty random but I enjoyed filling it out. Here are pictures from us bumming around at conference.

Jessica being Jessica. Funny story- this summer when I was hanging out with David and Mike one of the Branch presidents counselors thought I was Jessica and kept trying to talk to me like I was her. Haha it took me a while to figure out he was addressing me so for about a month he probably thought Jessica was a brat because I never turned around when he was talking to me (Jessica)

Kyle being Kyle with his pretty princess birthday hat, even though it wasn't his birthday.

Oooh let me see your tie.

???

Everyone was playing Robot Unicorn attack.

another picture of Kyle haha what can I say he's just always in the way, Jk Love you Kyle!

One more for March

Wow so this month has been busy! I got engaged, signed up for school, helped one of the ladies I work for get her house ready to sell by organizing and cleaning AND I have started putting a reception together .... which is always more tricky then it sounds. I decided to make a list of some things I am excited about

1. Today is my 1 year anniversary I have now been legally single for a year!! Can I just say I NEVER could have imagined last year that things were going to be this amazing next year. I can honestly say that as sad as I was last year I am now that Happy! I'm on cloud 9.

2. David- He is so awesome, man I love him so much! Every once in a while during the day I realize just how sappy things between us are but I wouldn't want it ANY other way. Today for example he spent the day at craft stores with my Mom my Aunt and I looking at reception stuff and not a single complaint. I was worried he would hate it but at the same time I was so happy he came. He's constantly surprising me with how gentlemanly, kind and thoughtful he is and I appreciate it so much, everything from opening my door to letting me blast the warm air in the car when I get cold (he is never cold, probably because his heart is warm too :).

3. School! I'm so excited to finally do some school I have missed learning ever since beauty school ended.

4. My ring. The ring in the picture on my engagement announcement was the ring David's mother wore. The diamond in it was the one that his grandma had before that and now that I am going to be a Warden  I get to wear it! It's just so exciting to have something with so much sentimental value along with the sappy-ness David and I already have.... sigh how romantic haha. Anyways I found the ring I wanted but as we got looking closer at it we were told that my diamond was too big to put in the ring I wanted. When I figured that out I turned to David and said "ah why did you have to give me such a big diamond" haha. Then his Mom turned to Brother Jones and said "how often do you hear that?" brother Jones replied "Never". I told my mom afterwards and she was like "oh now woe is you!".  Anyways this lead to some creative work by David's neighbor who just also so happens to be our jeweler. So he is creating a custom ring for us and for the first little while I'll be the only one with it. David helped me pick it out and all the ladies in the store were like "ahhh how special it's so beautiful!". Once again kudos David. Here are some pictures.

These are just computer images so the real ring will be much more bright and sparkly.

5. My tax return, I didn't even think I would get one but I am and it's 100% more then I thought it would be.

6. I finally got temple clothes. David and I have been going once a week for the last two months or so, it's such a great habit. Up until this last week I have been renting but David bought my clothes because he wanted me to have my own. Not only that but last week we went to Salt Lake so I could see a live temple session for the first time, that was so neat! I wish I could have seen it when Idaho Falls used to do them. What a beautiful temple!!! Ah I love the temple so much more every time I go and I love to see David sitting across from me even more.

I guess that's all for now but my postings might become a little farther between when I start school so I figured that for the next little while I will try to write on here as much as possible.

Candy Jars

These are the jars we are going to put candy in for the reception, it was David's Mom's idea. Robert's is going out of business and so we got them for 30% off! Aren't they cool?
I set them all up on the table so I could take this picture and send it to His Mom and my Mom. Then not 2 minutes later David promptly knocked it over and it broke, haha what can I say he has a way with breakable objects. Needless to say we quickly mad our way back to Robert's and bought another one. Nothing like Robert's twice in a day in under and hour, right??

Burritos

A couple of weeks ago I had to attempt to cut Tate's hair. He was going crazy. I was lucky I had David to help me hold him down. In order to cut the hair by his face we had to roll him up in a burrito. That pretty much cut the struggling down to nothing.

Then I just kept him wrapped up because he was so stinkin' CUTE!

Then he was starting to fall asleep so I was holding him like a baby. My Mom and I were talking about how we treat the dog and we started laughing because he gets more attention then most people.

Last Saturday night David and I were watching movies and of corse I was cold as usual, so I was using a quilt. When it was time to go David laid the blanket out on the floor to fold it up. I jumped in front of David and laid on the blanket, and he speedily rolled me up in it.

Me- Don't take a picture!

Me- Uh, David you are taking pictures?!

Me- Stop it David :( hahaha

He picked me up and took me into his parents room to show them. His Mama gave him a 9 1/2 for the burrito roll.
