Crib Time

This was Davie's first full night in his crib and he didn't do too bad. I was a little worried he would realize that it was the same bed I sent him to when he was naughty at 3 or 4 in the morning. Haha, yes I send my naughty 5 month old to timeout in the crib in the other room so I can sleep. Bad mom award.
This was my attempt to get him used to being un-swaddled. It didn't really help. Occasionally he will roll over and I worry that if he has his arms tied to his sides he will suffocate. I can't wait until he sleeps better just in general the boy is the lightest sleeper EVER.

Pickles and Ice Cream

The next day we got to spend a little more time withe Kameron and her younger two. They are sooo cute!
We went and got some lunch together. Alexandria is the one eating the pickle (her mom is holding her ice cream cone which she decided was not so great) and Greyson is eating his ice cream. Jessica managed to dodge my camera but she was there too.
See what did I tell you, cuties.
He was very focused
I was surprised how much of this thing she ate by herself!
David, Davie and ME.
Davie playing some gameboy. Just kidding, he's actually holding Aunt Jessica's iPhone. Isn't her phone cover awesome?!
It was a fun trip but after Davie's break down in the car at the end of the day on our way to Missouri we decided to drive through the night on our way home and I started. I was SOOOO proud of myself I was so determined to drive most of the way if not at least half. Most of the time when we go on trips David does a good chunk of the driving but since it was in the middle of the night and David isn't a night person AND he drove the ENTIRE way to Missouri I had to do my part. I drove about 2/3 of the way if not more and could have driven even longer if David hadn't made us take a longer pit stop (that was when I crashed). We left Missouri at 9 pm lost and I drove until 4 am. We arrived back in Toledo at 9:00 am and we were COMPLETELY dead. Like I said before we are crazy!

Lambert's Rolls

Lunch/ nap with Aunt Jessica
After Jessica was done with work for the day and we had looked at every inch of the Bass Pro shop we went to Lambert's for dinner. This is one of David's favorite restaurants because they throw hot yummy rolls at you every time you ask for one, David LOVES bread.
Waiting for food
Just spending some time with auntie Jessica
David and Bern enjoying rolls
me realizing how HOT they really are
Haha notice how my roll is not in my hands
Davie LOVES to eat bread too, he had his roll so gummed up that he was sucking on it like a binky. Which looked disgusting but was hilarious.
This is his shark attack on the roll, he shakes his head just like some kind of carnivore.
Next time I go I plan on getting a salad or something light so I can eat more rolls but also because the food was kind eh.
Roll thrower. He reminds me of Ichabod Crane on Disney's the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Good buddies
After dinner we visited David's Mom's cousin. It's kind of confusing but family is family and it's nice to have so many in our corner of the country.
Davie rocking out with Uncle Bern.

Bass Pro Shop Missouri

One of the most fun things we did while in Missouri was go to the Bass Pro Shop the only thing about it that was kind of a bummer is that half of the aquariums they usually have were under construction.
BIG fish
Davie thinks wild boars are funny
Giddy up!!
Davie and a Transformers fishing rod. Uncle Bern calls him Megatron.
"Uncle Bern this is fun!"
"Now what?"
Sunglasses
I love his fingers in this picture and how you can tell that they are just itching to rip those shades off his face.
Then it was time to try on hats
Davie the baby redneck
Davie the cable guy
coonskin cap
Uhh this hat is itchy!
Davie Crocket
Davie loved these little birds that chirped like the real ones. I also think he loved the fact that the two we showed him were BRIGHT red and BRIGHT blue.
Baby lateen
Checking out a turtle pond
Boat in the ceiling, this place had some really cool decorations.
Grizzly bear
Davie didn't really want to hold still.
Whoa! Bear!
See, it was an awesome set up.
My Hubby
Just hanging out with Uncle Bern
Racoon
Baby Davie ribs for dinner. Kidding, I'm kidding, it was just fun to put him next to/ on everything or let him touch everything he could possibly touch.
Feel the power. No worries it's just a lighter.
His face looks so excited
We did this for about 3 minutes before we got him to actually HOLD onto the gun to take the pictures you see above. Davie is super grabby but he has no ability to really hold things because he gets to excited and drops them.
Baby skillet, he dropped the little pan 2 seconds after I took this picture and honestly I was surprised that he held it as long as he did it was heavy.
Check out that rack
Camouflage Davie
It doesn't work when he cries though. He hated the stuff that was hanging all over (I think it was plastic but it felt just like dried plants, very realistic), it was itchy.
