Not this week but last week I got to go camping at Lagoon with David and his family. It was fun to be with them! It's great to get along with everyone so well. It was a blast and they were so funny! We went to Lagoon on Tuesday and I almost died from my allergies it was sad, my eyes were bright red, it was awful. I didn't even get to ride all the rides I like. BUT I did get to to go to Lagoona beach for the first time, the day started out warm and not too windy but the wind picked up fast. Because of my bloodshot eyes I decided not to take any pictures. We spent the next day recovering by visiting David's Grandparents and eating at PF Chang's (so tasty). Thursday we went to Temple square to see The Testaments. I LOVE THAT SHOW! Ugh, but it always makes me bawl like a little baby. I always feel the spirit so strong when I watch that film and the movie itself it beautiful. David did too, it was a great experience. Here's us in front of the Christus, I have wanted a picture with me and my significant other for a long time now.
After our cry-baby fest we went to Provo to help his sister move and celebrate the end of her summer semester. I got to see Utah lake too. Friday we got to shop around a little, which was really more like window shopping haha cuz I'm broke, but it was fun. Then we went to Toy Story 3 with a bunch of David's little cousins and his grandma. What a GREAT show! I was so worried they would ruin the story but it was great. I don't like to admit this but I cried. When I have hay fever it makes my eyes water non-stop so when I go see a movie that's sentimental crying is 5x more likely. It was a FUN FUN trip!

My Birthday
Wow I am behind on this blogging stuff for sure! As you know I ran a 5k on my Birthday. I was also lucky enough to get a pedicure with my honey (he is so cute!) and I got my hair did (did not done). It was a pretty good day :)

David got me purple M&M's from the Vegas
A Coke glass shaped just like a can of pop
A purple shirt to match my purple earrings he got me
I was really excited about the cup
This one is funny. David has a tendency to close his eyes in all of the pictures we've been taking lately. So we both decided to close our eyes together. Hah then right after my Mom goes "David your eyes were open!" Hahahaha!!! David's face was SOOOO funny! He was like NO WAY! Then my mom tells him just kidding, we laughed lots.
I also got some cute mary-janes from my familia they also paid to renew my license and to get the name changed on my wall certificate. I'm pretty excited about the license! It will be sooooooo great to NOT get called Kari Phillips every time I go to a beauty supply house! It's been driving me crazy since last March.

5K
On June 12th David and I ran the Teton Dam Marathon 5k. We had to get up extra early so we could drive to Rexburg (yuck early-ness). I initially had wanted to run the 10k or half marathon but because of school I just didn't have enough time to train. It went well and we finished it under 45 minutes (nothing stellar), but it was definitely worth it. And we got some sweet medals!

Birthday #1
David turned 25! I'm going to be writing random things about him throughout this post.
This picture is called a Saturdae like a Sundae only just ice cream. David started doing this when he was about 10 because he doesn't like the frosting on cake.
I love you!
What?
My Mama and I at David's house for his birthday
Brandon came too. This is him playing games on David's iphone (he usually plays until the battery is dead). Jordan couldn't come because he was camping for high adventure.
He got a pink tie so that we can match better on Sundays
A playstation 3!! This one will be the best! Now we can have a way to watch netflix when we move away and are poor haha
picked this out especially for you!
(haha this bag makes me laugh)
David and his family (especially his Mom) are die-hard Idaho Falls fans, so when I saw this shirt I couldn't help myself.
Best present of all! When David and I first went to the Bountiful Temple he told me that one of the clubs at BYU had made shirts that said "and God said (insert a big old equation) and there was light." He told me that he had always wanted one and wished he would have gotten one. So I found the shirt online and got it for him. David hardly EVER says he wants anything so when he told me he wanted one I got it! I think he was pretty surprised haha and I was probably more exited to see him open it then he was!
I love you David!
I Forgot this post
This is the three of us at their good-bye party.
A couple of weeks ago one of our good friends moved. Roy was one of my favorite ladies! I met her after moving home last year. Roy and her husband Steve were so good to me when I was having a difficult time. It was SOOOO sad to see them leave, and their last day in Idaho was my birthday! sad day :( My Mom Roy and I began having movie night about once a month for a girls night out. Roy has brought our family cookies, ice creams and other goodies (including dinner after I had Colin), but most of all she was such a fun happy person to be around! Our family is going to miss theirs a lot! The only upside is that technically I'm moving too, so my Mama is going to have to find some more ladies to go to movies with.
My Mama telling me to get out of the picture cuz she was Roy's friend first
Oh no she didn't
This is Roy thinking maybe she isn't sad she isn't so sad that she is leaving us after all.
BYE ROY!! We Love you!
Mama and Roy
This was also the night we celebrated my 100% on my last English essay with David's family because Jessica (David's sister) was here for the weekend. My last essay was a research paper and it had to be on something "controversial", I did mine on cheerleading injuries. Right up to the moment before I turned it in I was working on it. I was so worried that it wasn't going to be good enough. My teacher read it in front of me (silently) and I was freaking out inside my head the whole time. When she was done she said "Wow that was really good I don't have any complaints and your grammar was great!" Than she asked me if she could use it for an example next semester! I was like uhhhh... wow, "yea that would be great" I was happy because my other goal going to school this time was to have one of my essays be the example essay for next semester, kah-ching!
