Hamiltucky

Labor Day weekend was great! The drive South is about 20 miles less than the drive from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake, but it felt shorter, maybe because there was more to look at then just Mountains and desert? The down side is the speed limit is usually only 55-65 mph + traffic + roadwork= about the same time. I do have one thing to say though and that is people here drive soooo fast! Hah it’s almost like Utah, only I wouldn’t say the people here drive quite that fast. I averaged about 70- 80 mph depending on what pack of cars I followed, it was great my speeding took a whole 20 min off our trip. When we got there we had some Skyline!!!!
More pictures of us peeking over Skyline menus, sorry I just can't help my excitment.
Everyone says Gold Star is better but I just can't get enough Skyline!
Gold Star and Skyline are the chili equivalents of McDonalds and Burger King, they are very simular, BUT if you ask me Skyline has that little extra spice and "I'm Lovin' it"
It's Skyline time!
When I asked for a bib the lady looked at me like "uhhh ok" haha it was great!

Moving on...
Grandpa Joe, Me, Grandma Coates

We stayed with my great grandma Coates and my Grandpa Joe (who now lives with her). I got to spend a good part of Saturday with her. Grandma, David and I went to lunch as Frisch’s (Big Boy), which Grandma loves, then when we came back David went and studied while I talked with Grandma. Other than not being able to hear very well she is sitll so sharp! It really is amazing, I’m so glad that she is still around. One funny thing was she couldn't seem to remember David's name at first and so she was calling him Jack, haha it was cute because she said "He don't look like a David to me, sometimes I just call people what I think they oughta be" such a funny little old lady.

Haha it's so funny to see David next to her, she's just such a petite little lady.

On Sunday we went to visit my Grandma Snyder AKA Grandma Pink, it’s been her nickname for years and years. David has since decided to call her Grandma light red, haha he thinks he is so funny. Grandma Pink's family was having a get together at her brother's house. We told my Grandma and everyone about Grandma Coates calling David Jack, so they started to call him Jack. I don't really think David liked it haha but it was fun for one afternoon.

Waiting for food
Aunt Dede and Uncle Rick. Technically they are my great aunt and Uncle but I have a hard time remembering that. It's probably because my actual aunt and uncle are the same age as most of my cousins on my Dad's side so I think of them more like cousins. My Mom's side of the famly is a little bit younger then my Dad's.

Kisses!!
Haha David got some too! I'm pretty sure he wasn't expecting that.

Movin' In

NOTHING is better then an EMPTY storage unit

Moving in took two truck loads, the truck we rented to move with was the same size as the one we drove across country in but we didn’t have 3-4 days to tightly pack everything in it. We had our friends help us hurry and load as much as we could into the U-haul last Thursday then Friday David and I loaded the last little bit and we were in! Haha after all that waiting to sleep in our own beds it was sad because Friday evening we started our journey south to visit my Mama’s family for Labor day.
This is our kitchen the door to come into the house is behind the wall the refrigerator is on (left).
This is the cabinet the sellers left, kah-ching! This is in the corner of our kitchen. Basically it's where I was standing to take the previous picture.
This is our little porch on the right side of the kitchen (across the room from that cabinet). David and I are excited for a big rainstorm so we can watch it out this window!
This is the outside of the condo. We are right in the middle so the bottom porch is ours. It would kind of suck to be on ground level because your porch is all sad and under ground.
This is the street our condo is on, you can see the building on the left.

Hobos & Bums

That’s David and I. We are going on being married for 2 months in 2 days and until next Tuesday comes around we will not have slept in the same bed for more then 7 days in a row. I’m pretty excited about that, sleeping in our own bed has been heavenly. On another subject our car that we so thoroughly cleaned out before moving is no longer sparkling clean. At least now all the garbage, extra clothes, shoes, snack foods, papers from school/ medical/ legal things are in the house. It was starting to look pretty bad. This was the day we moved so the car had a few extra things in it…. just a few. A car is not made to live in and this is proof.
Back seat
and some junk in our trunk.

Blog Changes

In order to keep my privacy level up and not have to make my blog private, I have started to follow all of you bloggers anonymously. Hopefully you all noticed I changed the address of my blog and I also changed my email address (you can get both on facebook).  Honestly I'm feeling pretty accomplished right now. I totally revamped my entire blogger admin/ authorship without loosing any posts! I didn't even think that would be possible the only thing I had to really change was how many times my profile was viewed I was all the way to 1600+ something, the changes took it back to zero (hurry everybody look at my profile 100 times haha I only need 16 people to do that jkk) and said I've only been blogging since 2010. Oh well I can live with that because I'm feeling pretty sneaky too haha. I'm hoping to make it a little more difficult for those I don't want to read my blog to get access to it. I realize that only going private will truly fix that but recently I have received more comments that weren't exactly nice, they weren't really "mean" either just unwanted. Anyways things are going well and we will most likely be in our house by late Thursday or early Friday!
This is our friends little girl, isn't she adorable? She has an older sister but big sister didn't want to let me a take a picture of her, regardless she too is a cutie. How lucky are we to have such great new friends?!
