Tragedy

So there is nothing like your camera breaking right when you are about to experience the lights at temple square for the first time. And I mean literally.
We were about to cross the street from City Creek mall to go to the temple when I pulled out my camera, turned it on, it's lens popped out but the battery said it was dead (a dead battery makes me sooooo ANGRY!). Normally this is no big but the lens wouldn't retract and even after I charged the battery it refused to go in.
So somewhere right now my camera is in a shop being fixed, possibly by underage children in China, because it turns out that it was not the only one of it's kind to have a lens that refused to close.... Meanwhile I went through the entirety of Christmas camera-less (OH MY GOSH!).
I'm still surprised I never cried, I think I was just sooooo incredibly disappointed that I literally couldn't cry. This means that my baby's first Christmas was documented by other people's cameras and our cell phones. These are the best pictures from the temple lights we have.
So on top of the fact that I am trying to get my house put back together, I am taking 16 credits, and I am behind on blogging, I now have no camera. Did I mention Davie's first birthday is in ten days?? Yea, no stress.
