Some of you may not know this but I am terrified of flying I just don't like it. However when you only have a week off for spring break to visit your family you have to fly. The first week in March David, Davie and I came out to visit everyone and get the little guy blessed.
This is Davie guarding our stuff at the airport while we wait. When we went to get on the plane for family boarding the guy at the ticket place made David go back and get a family boarding paper thing. So I boarded and David ran back and forth between the flight counter and the ticket guy 3 times in an attempt to get the paper he needed and in the end he left Davie's suitcase in Detroit... annoying yes, tragic no. The upside was Davie got quite a few new pieces of clothing from his grandmas, have I mention he is the first grandkid on both sides? yup he is and he has made bank on it already. If you are wondering we did get our suitcase back so no worries there.
Davie was a little fussy for take off but that had way more to do with the fact that he was hungry. I fed him and he was a little gem for the rest of the trip.
US!

What a great traveler we have. I must admit I didn't really have any trouble flying at all! I was worried that Davie might struggle with it but he did awesome. I was also really scared to take him were so many people were and have him be uncovered but this trip forced me to do it. In the end it was probably a good thing because now I don't get as worried about how clean public areas are.
This is Davie at the airport in Phoenix. We are both sad because I didn't even think to let our friends, Dannielle and Tyler, who moved there that we had a layover. Definitely some short sightedness on my part (I was really sad!). The upside is that next time we fly I know there is a possibility that we could get a longer layover and have a visit with our friends!
